I am very pleased with the entire process and I would hire Greenpoint again. Tom Slizowski, the owner, was very thorough in assessing the scope of the work. We walked around my property three times so that Tom could figure out how he would tackle each part of the job. Tom quickly provided a written, detailed proposal via email, and priced the work competitively. The work was scheduled very quickly, only one week after our initial meeting. Tom, Sebastian and their crew arrived on time to perform the work. They mapped out a plan to do the tree take downs safely and with minimal impact to the rest of the yard. Because several of the trees were at the back of my property, these tree experts had to climb the trees and cut them down piece by piece. All branches and pieces of the trunks of the trees were lowered by rope or safely dropped to the ground. There was no damage to my house nor to nearby trees. They used large plastic mats to protect the lawn from their motorized equipment. Sebastian deftly climbed the trees to trim branches and he did not use spikes on his shoes, therefore avoiding damage to the tree’s trunk. The crew cleaned up the yard, removing branches, sawdust and debris from the take downs. Greenpoint Tree and Crane Service was able to get all of the work done in one day. The crew seemed to only run the chipper when they were using it. Other tree services who have worked in my neighborhood seem to let their chipper run constantly, creating unnecessary noise. From start to finish, I was positively impressed by the service by Greenpoint Tree and Crane Service.
