Green Point Tree Service is my absolute all-time favorite tree service company: they’re simply unmatched. Courteous, nice, honest, very professional, very timely and responsive, very experienced and no-nonsense, they own all their own equipment including a tall state-of-the-art crane, which makes a huge difference as there are no other middle men to schedule when booking the job. A trusty, solid family business, We’d had several jobs done by others through the years, and a few bad and traumatizing experiences, but no one even faintly compares to them.
We found them only last year, when we were faced with the extremely difficult job to cut down 5 huge 80-90 feet, very dangerous dead elm trees (bark beetles spread to all of them) on the edge of our property confining with our neighbor’s, whose house was just underneath. It was a delicate job and a difficult location as we were standing to lose a lot of other big surrounding trees to reach the elm trees, if we had listened to the several other companies we met with for estimates. Everyone proposed a different technique, and we would have lost lots of healthy trees and paid a lot more money, had we gone with others.
Green Point’s Thomas came by, assessed the job, quickly proposed using the crane in this situation, as the safest, most efficient method that would also not have us lose any other trees in the process, not put our neighbor in danger, and leave the site very clean; and their price beat everyone else’s, too.
They were the only ones to estimate the correct amount of time needed to get the job done properly, without rushing it: instead of everyone else’s typical one-day-and-get-out, they allowed for two extra 1/2 days to get things set up and then broken down the right way, allowing for proper clean up afterwards and leaving our property site spotless. One day, in retrospect, would have been completely unrealistic and it would have meant leaving a mess for us to clean up.
We couldn’t be happier about the big job green Point did for us, and we recommend them wholeheartedly without any hesitation.
